Uncle Tetsu's Japanese Cheesecake, Hillcrest Mall

I love the freshness of the cheesecakes. I went on Saturday, August 16th, and bought an Angel's Hat. I felt lucky because I hadn’t been able to find one in a while, although they didn’t have the cheesecake flavor of the month. Unfortunately, they don’t always have the full variety of products available. They usually offer special flavors during the week, but weekends are when I have the time to go. Also, they’ve removed the most visible menu from the store, so now we have to wait for it to appear on the TV screen again. The store is always clean, and the woman who works on Fridays and weekends is very kind and understanding with my children. I’m very grateful to them for always welcoming us with a smile.

This is hands down my favorite Japanese cheesecake shop — no question about it. The taste is always spot on: light, fluffy, perfectly balanced. No matter how many times I buy it, it’s just as good every single time. That soft, airy texture? Never disappoints. The price is super reasonable, which makes it even better. Whether I’m bringing it to share with coworkers, gifting it to someone, or just enjoying it myself — it’s always a hit. Honestly, it’s one of those things I just can’t walk past without picking up. For this quality and flavor at this price point, it’s completely unbeatable. Forever my No.1 Japanese cheesecake — absolutely flawless.

I tried the Japanese pancake and it was really good! So soft, fluffy, and not too sweet — just perfect. The packaging was super cute too! Everything looked so nice and thoughtful.

I went few days ago it was closed with sign saying will be back in 30min. but no one show up even after 30min. I went back to days later which was yesterday and got chocolate cheese cake. I taste more chocolate than cheese but still good I think. I read alot of hygiene problems on the review I hope they keep it clean and offer fresh cakes so people can enjoy for long term.
